Historic Port Deposit
The entire town, nestled between granite cliffs and the Susquehanna River is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Fascinating and historic architecture, river fishing, and popular eateries give this tiny port its special flavor. Revitalization efforts are underway to restore the town to the grandness of its glory days in the 1800s when it was a booming shipping center for the region.
