Colorful Nature - Hummingbird Moth.
The hummingbird moth clearwing (hemaris thysbe) is often mistaken for a baby hummingbird because of it's hummingbird-like characteristic feeding style. Hovering and floating from flower to flower sipping the nectar. In this photo it is sipping from the blossoms of a Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii). This profile view shows it's long snout-like feeding tube often mistaken for antennae of a hummer beak.
